Dr. Colin Manock; South Australia; Video displays Manock's horrifying, inhuman professional misconduct to a deceased aboriginal man in a public place in front of the man's community - and questions why the government has never brought Manock, who lacked the qualifications to properly perform his job as South Australia's chief forensic pathologist, to account. "Publisher's Note: Although the lack of accountability is lamentable, it can never be too late for the government's errors to be acknowledged - so the same 'errors' will not be repeated - and for a Public Commission of Inquiry to be held into Manock's conduct, not just in this outrageous case, but in dozens, if not hundreds of others. The South Australian government has nothing to lose by coming to grips with Manock, as Manock's malevolence and incompetence has already been exposed in the Henry Keogh case, and the spill-out of Keogh will be felt in possibly hundreds of other cases. But the government has a great deal to lose - including respect of the nation's aboriginals and others - if it does nothing."

PUBLISHER'S NOTE: (Editorial): The  following video broadcast by the  South Australian news show 'Today Tonight' is devoted to one of the most horrifying examples of misconduct  by a pathologist that I have ever seen in decades of studying flawed pathologists and flawed pathology. Having years spent reporting the misconduct of the former doctor Charles Smith, I never dreamed that Smith could be outdone - unless, it happened to be by South Australia's former state chief  forensic pathologist Dr. Colin Manock, the subject of this video. See the video for yourself. In essence, it involves inconceivable disrespect to the body of an aboriginal in a public place in the presence of the  deceased man's community. As will be seen, the story is the subject of a sworn affidavit in the Derek Bromley case, which is one of hundreds of Australian cases placed in jeopardy because of the unqualified  Manock's work in the case. Also shocking is the fact that in spite of their knowledge of Manock's displayed perverse inhumanity, justice officials have never brought Manock to account. That, of course reinforces the message to the aboriginal community that their lives are inferior, and not worthy  of protection of the law. Although the lack of accountability is lamentable, it can never be too late for the government's errors to be acknowledged - so the same errors will not be repeated - and for a Public Commission of Inquiry to be held into Manock's conduct, not just in this outrageous case, but in dozens, if not hundreds of others. The government has nothing to lose by coming to grips with Manock,  as Manock's malevolence and  incompetence has already been exposed in the Henry Keogh  case, and the spill-out of Keogh will be felt in possibly hundreds of other cases. But the government has a great deal to lose - including respect of the nation's aboriginals and others - if it does nothing.

The Toronto Star, my previous employer for more than twenty incredible years, has put considerable effort into exposing the harm caused by Dr. Charles Smith and his protectors - and into pushing for reform of Ontario's forensic pediatric pathology system. The Star has a "topic" section which focuses on recent stories related to Dr. Charles Smith. It can be found at:
